Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Hey there, AI whizzes!

I’m Danny, and just like you, I’m super fascinated by the world of artificial intelligence (AI)! It’s the clever stuff that makes machines learn and act like almost-humans!

But have you ever wondered how you can create your own AI apps, even if you’re not a coding whizz like me? Well, buckle up, because I’m here to introduce you to a super cool tool called Flowise!

Check out my Repo where you can download and install Flowise, it is free: https://github.com/danvnuk/Flowise

What is Flowise?

Imagine Flowise as a giant box full of colourful building blocks, each with a special power. You can snap these blocks together to build all sorts of amazing things, like games, stories, and even AI apps, without needing to write lines and lines of code!

Why Flowise?

Here’s why Flowise is awesome for young coders like us:

  • No coding, all creating: You don’t need to be a coding expert to use Flowise. It’s all about dragging and dropping blocks, just like building with Lego!
  • Bring your ideas to life: Ever had a cool idea for a game or an app? Flowise lets you turn those ideas into reality, even if you’ve never coded before.
  • Learn as you play: While you’re having fun building with Flowise, you’re also learning the basics of how AI works, which is super clever!

Getting Started: Your Flowise Adventure!

Ready to jump into the world of AI app building? Here’s how to get started with Flowise:

  1. Head to Flowise’s website: You can find it by searching for “Flowise” online.
  2. Create an account: It’s quick and easy, and with a free repo, you can build plenty of cool things! Later, I will add step-by-step guides to show you how to install it and use it.
  3. Explore the workspace: This is where you’ll build your AI apps. It looks a bit like a blank canvas, waiting for your creativity!

Building our first AI App: The Clever Cat Game!

Now, let’s build a fun game together to see Flowise in action! We’ll create a game where you teach a cat to recognise different objects. Here’s how:

  1. Search for “AI Model” and drag it onto your workspace. This is the clever bit that will learn from us!
  2. Find the “Image Classification” block and snap it next to the AI Model. This tells the AI Model what kind of learning we want it to do.
  3. Time to add some images! Drag the “Upload Image” block and choose three pictures of different objects, like a ball, a hat, and a toy car.
  4. Label the images: Click on each image and give it a clear label, like “ball,” “hat,” and “car.” This helps the AI Model understand what it’s looking at.
  5. Let’s train the AI Model! Find the “Train Model” block and connect it to the Image Classification block. Click the “play” button, and watch the AI Model learn from the images you labelled.

Now comes the fun part!

  1. Drag the “Predict” block and connect it to the AI Model. This block will test the AI Model’s knowledge.
  2. Find the “Upload Image” block again and choose a new picture, maybe one with all three objects.
  3. Click the “play” button again. This time, the AI Model will use its knowledge to guess what objects are in the new picture. If it’s trained well, it should correctly identify the ball, hat, and car!

Congratulations! You’ve just built your first AI app with Flowise!

Remember, this is just the beginning! Flowise has many other cool blocks you can use to create even more amazing things, like:

  • Building a chatbot: This is a computer program that can have conversations with you, just like a friend!
  • Creating a music generator: Flowise can help you compose your own tunes using different instruments and sounds.
  • Designing a guessing game: You can build a game where the AI tries to guess what you’re thinking of based on your answers to its questions.

The possibilities are endless! So keep exploring, keep creating, and most importantly, keep having fun with Flowise!

Bonus Tip: If you ever get stuck or need inspiration, check out Flowise’s online community. There, you can find plenty of tutorials, examples, and even connect with other young creators like yourself!
